The BEST live music venue in Rockford. Period. Cheap drinks and good company. Jack and Jay make sure that the talent is worth seeing and provide local musicians with many opportunities to showcase their talent. Bands are always paid fairly. Steve does a great job with the live sound! Open stage is on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Totally worth a visit!

Went there to see my favorite band / say goodbye to my coworkers who are more local to that area. Kind of small place but comfy. Awesome service from the bartender.

Probably one of the best live music bars I've been to in the world. Amazing beer selection. Awesome bartenders. Also there were so many good-looking girls. I won at least $500 on each gambling machine. I scored some good beer and the bathrooms were clean...

Mary's Bar has Great Music, including Pistol Pete, Bun E. Carlos, Open mic nt on Tuesdays, etc! 🎶 Tons of Talent comes thru there. They have pool, darts & slot machines...however. The biggest draw is the staff & customers. It's a place where U can b comfortable, laugh & B Yourself. It's a very diverse group of Ppl who are there because they WANNA b THERE. The regulars are very Friendly & supportive. I strongly suggest hangin out there 2-3 tmes!

Welcoming, friendly, music choices for everyone, a beer and liquor selection for all tastes, great staff to serve you. Something to be said about a place that has this much staying power and friendliness, Astounding to say the least. You will definitely enjoy Mary's Place.

Mary's is a Rockford classic! One of the oldest bars around with a great local vibe. The drinks are affordable, the live music is always a good time, and it's the kind of place where you can relax and feel welcome. If you're looking for a laid-back neighborhood bar with character, Mary's is definitely worth a visit.
